The snow day continues… Charlotte is sporting a pair of bunny slippers she got from friends Rich and Helen, who are in Russia right now adopting their baby boy.
Congratulations, Rich and Helen, hope everything goes smoothly! Can’t wait to get Roman and Charlotte together.

I am working from home and taking care of Charlotte since daycare and Renton schools are closed today due to snow. We just ate breakfast not too long ago, and I was working in the office… turned around and Charlotte was in Murphy’s crate. I promise I did not put her in it… it looked like a nice place to rest her head so she crawled in and took a break from playing.

We thought we’d start the new year with an update to our blog. It’s the same wonderful content, but we also added some new features including a photo gallery page (link is also in the header). It’s working great, but I have still have design tweaks to make to it. We also added a search feature and hopefully made it easier to subscribe to our RSS feed (for those of you who don’t know what that is, don’t bother asking).
So enjoy and come back again soon… I’m working on some other cool new features.

We finally found time tonight to shoot some video of our dear daughter performing her newest trick: walking. Today was a big day for her since it was her first day in a new class at school. She has officially graduated from the infant room to the toddler room. She’ll be with this new class until she’s about two and a half. Her teachers in the old classroom are sad that she’s gone, but her new classroom is right next door to the old one. (And to answer some questions you may have: She loves to carry around one of dad’s t-shirts [preferably worn], and even though you can’t hear it on the video, she loves to say her first two syllable word, “Cougar”, as she terrorizes our cat).
