Four month doctor visit

We just got back from Charlotte's four month check-up with the doctor. As suspected, she's perfect! Of course she was well behaved and smiled and talked with the doctor, but her weight and height came in great too. She's now 12 lbs, 10 oz, she's gained 3 lbs in two months and grew over 2 inches, now at 24 3/4". It's great validation for me since she's been breastfeeding exclusively for two months now! We did it!
Pat even got to hear Charlotte laugh while we were waiting for the doctor! She laughed for the first time last Thurs. while he was away and continues to do it every couple of days. It's the coolest sound in the whole world!

I miss you, Dad!

Hi Dad,
While you're traveling, Mom and I are having fun playing with all the toys and stuffed animals I got for Christmas. We miss you! We're working on my laugh, talking lots and of course, smiling. Mom misses you too. See you Sunday!

Cousins Meet

Charlotte met her newest cousin, Peter, yesterday. He's just a little over a month old. Heidi's brother, Paul, and wife Janae just moved to the area and we spent New Year's together watching football and exchanging baby stories.
