I'm a certified Toastmaster!

I did it! A couple of years ago I joined a great Toastmaster group in Seattle, and just recently I finished giving my 10th speech. I have what's called your CTM and have a certificate to prove it. I think in general Toastmasters can be very stuffy and not very fun, but I found a great group that gave the encouragement and constructive feedback I needed to be better at public speaking. It's helped me in so many ways, including giving presentations at work, going through an interview and being a better listener. I recommend it to anyone, even if you're good in front of a group!
